SMAT Exam Pattern: Shiv Nadar University Management Aptitude Test, popularly known as the SMAT exam, is conducted by Shiv Nadar University annually to select candidates for its MBA programme.

The SMAT question paper entails subjects such as Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal & Reading Comprehension and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. Test takers must prepare each subject individually.

SMAT 2023 Marking Scheme 

The exam conducting authority decides the marking scheme to be followed in the examination. The pointers below give a brief about the marking scheme followed in the examination:

  • There will be no mark deduction for the unattempted question by the test taker. 
  • Test takers will be given 2 marks for each correct answer. 
  • There is no negative marking followed in the examination.

Students will be asked Multiple Choice Questions in the SMAT examination. 

How many subjects are there in the SMAT examination? 

There are four subjects in the SMAT examination, namely, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning

Is there any negative marking in the SMAT examination? 

No, there is no negative marking in the SMAT examination. 

How many questions are asked in the SMAT examination? 

Students will need to answer 60 questions in total in the SMAT examination.

How much time will be given to complete the examination? 

Students will be given 1 Hour and 30 minutes to complete their SMAT examination.
