The SLET exam centres are allotted by the officials of the SLET Commission Assam. SLET exam 2023 is a state-level eligibility test which offers the post of Assistant Professor at Government Universities in the Northeastern States of India. While filling out the SLET application form, candidates are given the option of choosing the SLET exam centres. The registration window for the SLET Exam 2023 was open from 15th November 2022 to 7th January 2023.

How To Book SLET Exam Centres
All the candidates interested in the SLET exam will have to book their slots online. The SLET Exam centres will be allotted to all the candidates by the officials of the SLET Commission Assam after the application process is finished. Candidates can book their SLET exam venues by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Go to the official website of the State Level Eligibility Test North East.
- Under the dashboard, look for the ‘SLET Apply Now’ option and click on it.
- Start your SLET application process by entering all the required details.
- While filling out the application form, there will be an option to select your exam centres.
- Select your SLET exam centre according to your convenience.
- Upload all the required documents and pay the applicable fees.
- After the payment has been made, submit your application form.

The SLET exam, an abbreviation for the State Level Eligibility Exam, is an eligibility test which is annually conducted by the SLET Commission Assam.
Through this exam, selected candidates will be offered the post of Assistant Professor at the government universities in the North East States of Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya.
Candidates interested in the SLET exam must possess a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks without rounding up. For candidates belonging to the SC/ ST or PwD categories, the minimum required marks are 50% without rounding up.
Candidates have to pay INR 1200 as the SLET exam application fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories will have to pay INR 1000 and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will have to pay INR 800.

The SLET exam 2023 was conducted on 19th March 2023 at various exam centres in North East Districts of India. Candidates who appeared for this exam can apply to work as Assistant Professors in the Government Universities across the Northeastern States of India, including Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya.
