RULET Seat Allotment: Number of Seats
There are many students who apply for the Rajasthan University Law Entrance Examination each year. Since the examination is conducted for only 1 program that is, the integrated BA LLB Program the number of seats is comparatively lesser.
The university conducted this examination for the intake of students in its own Law department only. The program offers 120 seats in total for students coming from all sorts of backgrounds and regions. These 120 seats are filled after a rigorous process of the RULET Entrance Examination process.

RULET Seat Allotment: Reservation of Seats in RULET Examination
The seats are reserved at the University of Rajasthan for students coming from marginalised communities and underrepresented backgrounds. All the courses including the 5-year integrated BA LLB program follow this seat reservation criterion.
The reservation is defined by the Government of Rajasthan and is followed by all state-level institutions for the intake of students. The percentage of seats reserved for each category is mentioned in the table below.

Selection Process
The RULET Examination is a two-step testing process for the candidates to check their aptitude for Law. The first step of screening is the written examination and the second step of screening is the Group discussion and Personal Interview.
Written Test
The written test includes a pen and paper-based evaluation with multiple choice questions that the candidate has to pass as the first step of screening for admission to the University of Rajasthan.
The test has questions based on English Language, Legal & Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude. The candidate has to attempt all sections within the given time frame.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview
After the results of the written test are released, selected candidates are called upon for the next round of selection which is the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The candidates selected under this round are called for the counselling process and reserve their seats for admission.

RULET Previous Year Cutoff
The results display the marks obtained by all the candidates who appeared in the RULET Examination. To select the best scorers the university releases cutoff lists for various categories as a requirement of minimum marks to be scored in RULET for selection to the next round.
The cutoff influences the Seat Allotment in a way by creating a score mark for the candidates to achieve for admission. The RULET Cutoff for 2022 is given below.

FAQs
Candidates who have completed or are appearing for their 10+2 examinations from a recognised university can apply for RULET Examination. The scores in the qualifying examinations have to be around 50%.
The RULET includes 150 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer is awarded 2 marks and the examination is conducted for 300 marks in all.
The RULET Examination has an application fee of INR 2000. The candidate has to pay the fee while filling out the application form and before the deadline for application.
