OTET Exam Centres: OTET Exam Centres are decided by the Board of Secondary Education, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha and the list of exam centres is released along with the notification for the exam. The Exam centres fall under the jurisdiction of Odisha in its various district headquarters. The OTET Exam 2023 is organised to screen eligible candidates for the recruitment of teachers for classes 1 to 8 in the various Government, Government aided and Private Schools in the state of Odisha.
A candidate must be a permanent domicile of Odisha to apply for this exam. Schools within the jurisdictions of Odisha release their vacancies and use the OTET Exam scores as the first criteria of evaluation in determining the best candidates for Teaching jobs. OTET Exam Centres
Candidates have to select their OTET exam centres at the time of filling out the application forms for the exam. The selected exam centres cannot be changed once the exam form is finally submitted. BSE, Bhubaneshwar confirms the candidate’s exam centres in the OTET Admit Card.
In case the exam centre is not as chosen, the candidate can contact the conducting body for the discrepancy. The candidate is required to submit a copy of the application form to prove the same. It is not allowed to change the choice of exam centre once selected.

Exam Day Instructions
There are several instructions that a candidate has to necessarily follow on the day of the examination. These instructions may also be mentioned on the OTET Admit Card. The instructions are as follows:
- Reach the exam centre an hour before the time of the examination.
- Do not forget to carry important documents and stationery.
- No electronic items are allowed inside the examination centre. This includes smart watches, mobile phones, calculators, etc.
- No study material is allowed inside the examination centre.
- The candidates will not be allowed to leave before the duration of the exam is over.
- Wear a mask and follow COVID protocols.
