The Narayana Business School Admission Test or NBSAT exam is conducted by the Narayana Business School for admissions to their PGDM/MBA programmes. It is a common two-hour entrance exam which can be taken from home as it is a proctored online test.

Registration for NBSAT 2023 will open on December 20th and the application deadline is January 31st, 2023. The NBSAT 2023 exam will take place on February 5, 2023. The NBSAT 2023 results will be announced on 7th February 2023 and the group discussion and personal interview (GDPI) slot reservations will be open from 7th February 2023 to 9th February.

Application Process

Narayana Business School (NBS) has launched Registration 2023 online mode on its official website – admission.nbs.edu.in. The application deadline is January 31, 2023. See below for instructions on how to complete your application for the exam.

NBSAT Application form – Important Instructions

  • The NBSAT application fee is non-refundable.
  • The email ID submitted during NBSAT registration will be used for all communications until the NBSAT registration is completed. Changing the email address is not permitted under any circumstances.

How to Fill the NBSAT Application Form 2023?

The application form is available online mode on the official website. Candidates should refer to the following steps to complete the online application form:

Step 1- Visit NBSAT-admission.nbs.edu.in official website.

Step 2- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab and enter your name, email id, mobile number, password, state, city and course.

Step 3 – Click the “I Agree” checkbox to register for the exam.

Step 4 – Complete Your Academic Details on the NBSAT 2023 Application.

Step 5- Upload the required documents (scanned photo and signature) in the required size.

Step 6 – Pay the Rs 1,000 NBSAT application fee using a debit/credit card or internet banking.

Eligibility Criteria

To sit for the exam 2023, candidates must meet the exam eligibility criteria as defined by Narayana Business School (NBS). 

  • Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university/institution and have at least a 50% grade or equivalent (45% grade or equivalent for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe).
  • Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation or equivalent qualifications awaiting results are also eligible for NBSAT 2023. 
  • Candidates must have studied class 12th Mathematics/Statistics. A degree in computer applications, IT engineering, or statistics would be an added advantage for the PGDM-DS-A program.
  • Work Experience – No minimum or maximum work experience is required to apply to the NBS MBA/PGDM program. However, having work experience will be an add-on advantage that irradiates admission chances.

Exam Pattern

NBSAT 2023 exam duration is of two hours in online mode. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the areas of Quantitative Techniques (QT), Data Interpretation and Validity (DI & DA), Vocabulary and Analytical Thinking, and Reading Comprehension.

Students should keep in mind that the admission is provisional and subject to payment by the due date, meeting the relevant program eligibility requirements, and verification in accordance with NBS regulations.

Candidates are advised to have no financial contributions required for admission to programs offered by NBS. Candidates are cautioned not to be misled by such promises/offers from individuals or outside parties.

Admit Card

Those who have finished the application process will receive their admit card from Narayana Business School (NBS). The students can apply online to register for the application process. Once registered, students will be provided admit card. 

On the day of the exam, candidates should carry their NBSAT admit card. The candidate must show their NBSAT admit card to the regulator prior to beginning the NBSAT entrance exam. Candidates must also present a valid original ID card in addition to their admit card. The NBSAT admit card includes information such as the candidate’s name, photo, test date, and instructions for the exam date.

NBSAT 2023 Results 

The results for 2023 are presented by Narayana Business School as a merit list. Aspirants can only access the results in an online manner by going to the official website. To download their scorecard, candidates must log in with their NBSAT credentials.

The institute will start determining the selection criteria for group discussion (GD) and personal interviews after the release of the results. Those who pass the entrance exam will receive an invitation to the GD and PI rounds.

Selection Process

On the basis of their aggregate exam score, candidates will be shortlisted for the subsequent admissions process, which entails GD and PI. Based on their combined exam score, the cutoff for shortlisting is determined separately for each MBA/PGDM programme.

Merit lists and waitlists will be displayed on the official website of Narayana Business School (NBS). A waitlist will depend upon the vacant seats available if any. 

The candidates should know that it is mandatory to attend GD-PI for admission to all PG programs. Only candidates who attend the NBSAT+GD-PI will be considered eligible for final merit/waiting/rejection list preparation. Candidates who miss any of the components/tests will not be able to participate in the selection process.

Important Points to Remember 

The candidates applying for the NBSAT 2023 must keep in mind the below points: 

  • Candidates must register online by 10:45 am. Students should use their User ID, password and identity verification to register.
  • No candidates will be allowed to show up after 11:00 am.
  • The exam time is 120 minutes (11:00 am to 1:00 pm).
  • The NBSAT examination admissions will automatically end at 1:00 pm. 
  • No additional hours will be awarded to candidates under any circumstances.
  • Candidates who use unfair means will be disqualified from consideration for admission and will be ineligible to obtain NBSAT scores.
