Every year, Himachal Pradesh University holds an admission test for Management programmes. The entrance test for the university is known as HPU MAT, which stands for Himachal Pradesh University MBA Aptitude Test.

Applicants seeking admission to Himachal Pradesh University Business School (HPUBS) must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum aggregate of 50%. A 5% relaxation is granted to restricted groups, and they’re permitted to submit an application if they have acquired 45 per cent.
Candidates sitting in the last year of their qualifying examination will also be allowed to apply for HPU MAT 2023, according to the eligibility conditions. However, such appearing applicants will be admitted on a temporary basis, which means they must produce the appropriate documentation within the time frame specified.
