The HPU MAT is an open competitive exam, in which students from different academic backgrounds appear. Himachal Pradesh University conducts the HPU MAT exam through which eligible candidates can pursue a course in Management. The university will soon release the notification for the HPU MAT 2023. Candidate’s admission procedure will comprise application ratings, a Management Aptitude Test which will consist of MCQ-based questions, and Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. Education Qualifications
As a part of the HPU MAT eligibility criteria, education qualification is one of the most immediate requirements. Candidates need to make sure that they possess the required education qualification for the HPU MAT. The HPU MAT education qualification will include the following criteria.
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of an aggregate of 50% from any recognised university in India.
- Candidates belonging to categories other than General must have a minimum aggregate of 45% in their bachelor’s degree.
- Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for this exam.

Age Limit
Himachal Pradesh University has set age limit criteria for all the candidates who will be appearing for the HPU MAT 2023 exam. The age limit for male and female candidates differs. HPU MAT is the abbreviation for the Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test, which is conducted by Himachal Pradesh University.
To become eligible for the HPU MAT exam, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% and an age limit of 28 years for male candidates and 26 years for female candidates.
The HPU MAT exam will contain a time duration of 2 hours (120 minutes), under which, candidates have to attend a total of 200 questions offline.
Under the HPU MAT exam, candidates will be given +1 for every correct answer marked by the candidate. However, the exam will not consist of any negative marking.
To successfully complete the application form for the HPU MAT, candidates will have to pay INR 700 as an application fee.
