HP PAT Exam 2023 Overview

The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTEB), Dharamshala conducts the examinations of affiliated polytechnics which are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT) & State Council for Vocational Training(SCVT) approved registered ITIs. This is a state-level exam that is conducted every year, students qualifying for the exam are eligible to get admission into various government and private polytechnic institutions across the state of Himachal Pradesh. The candidate can also get admission into various engineering course certificates.

The exam pattern for the HP PAT Exam 2023 is as follows:

• The duration of the exam is 3 hours

• The paper is conducted in both English and Hindi languages

• The candidate must have a domicile in Himachal Pradesh 
• Qualification of 10th or equivalent from a recognized board
