Candidates interested in applying for this exam could register and apply for the exam till 06 April 2023, 11:59 PM. The exam was conducted in offline pen and paper-based mode. MAH ACC CET 2023 Latest Updates

Candidates who met the criteria were contacted for the MAH AAC CET 2023 Counseling procedure. Beginning in the first week of June 2023, registrations for counselling were opened. The authorised Facilitation Centres are where candidates must appear to finish the counselling procedure.

About MAH AAC CET 2023

Students willing to get admitted into any of the visual art colleges for undergraduate courses such as the BFA, and B.Des and Fashion and Design courses in Maharashtra are required to qualify for the MAH AAC CET examination. This state-level entrance exam is conducted every year by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC), Maharashtra. Candidates preparing for the said exam must qualify in both the practical and the general knowledge parts of the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for MAH AAC CET 2023

Just like any other exam, the MAH AAC CET exam 2023 has its own set of prescribed eligibility criteria. These eligibility criteria are determined by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. Candidates appearing for the said exam must meet the set requisites in order to be deemed eligible. The basic eligibility requirements for the exam are as follows: 

  • Candidates must hold Indian citizenship.
  • There is no age restriction for the candidates. They can apply for MAH AAC CET as long as they are eligible for the exam. 
  • Applicants appearing (or have passed) for their class 12th boards/HSC exam can also apply for the MAH AAC CET 2023 exam. 

Candidates appearing for the said exam are allowed to choose their preferred candidature type (from types A to E). These candidatures are described below:  

Type A Passed SSC and HSC from Maharashtra State. 
Type BCandidates’ parents are domiciled in the state of Maharashtra.
Type COne of the parents of the candidate is an employee of the Indian Government. The parent must be posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State. 
Type DThe candidate’s father/mother is an employee of the Maharashtra Government. 
Type ECandidates who have passed or are appearing for the SSC/HSC exam from a renowned institution.

MAH AAC CET Application Form 2023

Candidates who want to pursue their higher education in the field of visual arts are encouraged to apply for the MAH AAC CET (2023) examination. In order to apply online, candidates must submit their applications between the second week of February 2023 and the fourth week of March 2023.

What is the Application Fee for MAH AAC CET 2023?

Candidates belonging to the General Category are required to pay Rs 1700/-, while those coming from reserved backgrounds ( such as SC/ST/VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D)/OBC/ SBC/PWD) hailing from the state of Maharashtra are needed to pay Rs 1200/-.

Aspirants prospecting to appear for the said exam are required to submit their application forms via online mode only. The conducting body will not accept any offline submission.
