GUMAT Eligibility Criteria

Galgotias University Management Aptitude Test, commonly known as the GUMAT exam, is conducted by Galgotias University. The examination is conducted once a year to select eligible and qualified candidates for the various MBA programmes at the School of Business at Galgotias University. 

GUMAT is expected to be held in July 2023 in more than 10 cities all over the country and candidates from all over the country are eligible to apply for the entrance examination subject to meeting the specified eligibility criteria.

GUMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the GUMAT exam to get admitted to various MBA programmes at Galgotias University, there are eligibility criteria that a candidate must meet in order to be eligible for the entrance examination. Candidates failing to meet the desired eligibility criteria stand automatically forfeited from the GUMAT exam. The successful completion of the registration is subject to meeting the defined eligibility criteria by the School of Business of Galgotias University.

There is no defined age limit prescribed by the examination conducting body to be eligible to apply for the GUMAT entrance exam.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification required for the GUMAT entrance examination for admission into various MBA programmes in the School of Business at Galgotias University is noted below:

  • The candidate must have completed their graduation with a minimum score of aggregate 55% in any discipline from a government-recognised institute/university.
  • Candidates waiting for the final result or appearing in the final semester examination are also eligible to apply subject to submitting the final result before the document verification.
  • Candidates who have obtained a minimum 55 percentile in CAT/CMAT/GMAT/NMAT and have completed their graduation with a 50% are also eligible 
  • Candidates who have scored 50% or less in the graduation but have scored 440, i.e. 55 percentile in MAT are also eligible to apply.
