The MAT exam is conducted multiple times a year as compared to other MBA entrance exams. On the other hand, exams like CAT, SNAP, XAT and others are held only once a year. Eligibility Criteria for MAT

The eligibility criteria for the MAT exam have been put out on the official website of the conducting website, which is, the All India Management Association (AIMA). As per the official website, below mentioned is the eligibility criteria, based on which the candidate will be allowed to take the MAT exam.

  • The candidates must have earned a minimum of 50 – 60 per cent marks during their Bachelor’s course. 
  • Candidates with professional degree holders will be given relaxations. 
  • Candidates who hold work experience will be given more weightage during the admission process. 
  • Women candidates will also be given more weightage. 
  • Based on the academic performance of the candidates in their Class 10 and 12 will be given weightage.
