GATE

Some companies utilize GATE scores directly for recruitment. SSC JE

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) administers the SSC JE exam. This exam is designed to hire Junior Engineers (JEs) in several engineering disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying, and Contracts. The purpose of this exam is to enroll candidates for Group-B (non-gazetted) posts at level 6 (Rs 35,400-1,12,400) of the seventh Central Pay Commission’s pay matrix.

Various departments for Junior Engineer (Civil) can be filled through SSC JE such as Military Engineer Services (MES), Central Water Commission (CWC), National Technical Research Organization (NTRO), Border Road Organization (BRO) and so on.

RRB SSE 

The SSE Recruitment Exam is held by the Railway Recruitment Board. The projected minimum and maximum age limits for applying for the position are 20 and 34 years, respectively. There will be a written exam, a medical test, and a round of document verification. The RRB SSE Salary Packages differ depending on the position. According to the previous year’s RRB JE/SSE recruitment notification, the salary structure for RRB SSE Junior Engineer Group ranged from Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800.

State AE/JE Exams
