What is the Full Form of SCVT?

The full form of SCVT is the State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training. It is located in Bhubaneswar, India. Mission of SCVT

• The SCVT aims to establish 20 new Government ITIs every year. 
• Out of these, 20% of such Industrial Training Institutes will be established in minority Established regions to ensure their upliftment and easy access to quality education.
• The SCVT further aims to develop the Training Capacity of Trades, currently being operated in Government ITI.
• It also aims to start an employed-based Vocational Training Program under its Skill Development Mission.

Difference Between NCVT and SCVT

Up until a few years ago, the difference between NCVT and SCVT was difficult to understand. Considering this difficulty being faced by students and job seekers, the Government of India and State Governments took initiatives to make the differences comprehensible. 

• The full form of NCVT is the National Council of Vocational Training. As the name implies, it is a national-level body. 
• On the other hand, the SCVT, or State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training works for a state. 
• While the NCVT covers somewhere around 15,000 ITI institutions across the country, the SCVT has a few institutions to manage.
