CAPART Full Form is Council for Advancement of People’s Action and Rural Technology. The CAPART was established in 1986 to promote voluntary action towards the execution of projects meant for rural development. Moreover, it would assist in the development of technologies in the rural areas. The CPART has assisted several NGOs with various projects. Moreover, their assistance is spread over different categories of schemes under the Public Corporation (PC), Organisation of Beneficiaries, and people under disability categories.

The vision of CAPART is to play an important role with several NGOs, and government agencies, influence public policy, and contribute to the development of the rural areas in India. CAPART was established in 1986 by two agencies such as the Council for Advancement of Rural Technology and People’s Action for Development India.
The mission of CAPART is to coordinate with NGOs and empower them by respecting their thoughts and ideas, engaging them in dialogue, listening to their voice, funding their activities, harnessing their resources, and strengthening the women, disabled, and other weaker sections of society.

- Scheme for Empowerment of Rural Development: SC, ST, & Disadvantaged Groups and for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in rural areas
- Human Resouce Development Scheme (HRDS)
- Rural Infrastructure Development Scheme (HRDS)
National Registration of NGOs Seeking Assistance from CAPART
To promote the NGO movement, CAPART has launched the registration of all NGOs seeking assistance. The following documents are required to be submitted by the NGOs for registration.
- Attested photocopy of registration certificate
- Attested photocopy of Bank passbook and PAN
- Attested photocopy of Memorandum of Association and Bye-laws relating to society
- Attested photocopy of Bank passbook and PAN
- Attested photocopy of FCRA number granted by the Ministry of Home Affairs
- Audited statements of accounts, and annual resorts, if available
