Established in 1877 as a public research university, The University of Manitoba is situated in Manitoba, Canada. It is Western Canada's first university with a main campus known as the Fort Garry campus, built in Winnipeg. In the whole region, this university conducts the largest amount of research annually as compared to any other university. Other than the main campus, the University of Manitoba also has two other campuses, namely, the Bannatyne Campus and the William Noorie Centre. Founded by Alexander Morris, this university has around 26K students enrolled in over 24 different faculties. This university has a total of five colleges, namely University of St. Paul's College, St. Boniface, St. Andrew's College, and St. John's College, offering various different disciplines for the students to choose from.
