The Catholic University of Korea is an amalgamation of the historic St. Joseph Seminary, the College of Medicine and the Songsim Women’s University. It is one of the best Catholic institutions and one of the best research universities in South Korea. It is historically appreciated for its medicinal facilities. The QS Rankings in 2020 rated The Catholic University of Korea amongst the top 30 universities in South Korea. The university comprises of three campuses laced with modern amenities, offering various degree programs, namely, the main Songsim campus and two complementary Song Sui and Songsin campuses. The total number of undergraduate enrollments across these campuses comes to be around 10,760 students every year and graduate enrollment amounting to an average of 2,914 students every year. Undergraduate courses are offered through the Faculty of Humanities which houses the schools of English and other languages, Faculty of Social Sciences which houses schools of business and international studies amongst others, Faculty of Natural Sciences which harbours school of human ecology and biotechnology, etc. Furthermore, Graduate studies are fractionated into graduate schools of business, education, culture, public health, nursing, music, and medicine amongst others. It has close to 230 international agreements with renowned universities such as California State University and Utrecht University amongst others.
