History, Affiliations and Rankings
The New England College was established in 1946. In 1970, the college added the Tortington Park School for Girls in Arundel. However, the Arundel campus had to shut down in 1998. New England College is a private liberal arts college. As of Fall 2020, New England College’s enrollment was 4,327 students. The college has been regionally accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
The college campus stretches over an area of 225 acres with nearly 30 major buildings on campus. It has more than 30 student clubs & organizations. In January 2019, New England College started a modern esports arena in which 16 varieties of sports and a lot of recreational athletic choices are available for students. The college offers 30 undergraduate majors and 27 minors across Bachelor of Arts and Science (BA/BS), and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees. The college also offers graduate degrees that support graduate programs. Graduate programs include MBA, MS in Computer Information System, MS in Human Services, MS in Health Informatics and MS in Applied Data Sciences.
Accomplishments and Alumni
The university has created a name for itself over the past few decades. It offers some of the best courses across various disciplines in the country. The university has a list of notable alumni. One of the most notable alumni names includes Geena Davis (b. 1956), an Academy Award-winning actress who attended her freshman year at NEC.

The college caters to the academic demands of 1,060 undergraduate students on-campus at Henniker, 255 undergraduates on-campus at Manchester. It also facilitates the learning of 650 online undergraduates. Around 32% of the students are international from more than 28 countries. Thus, promoting a rich cultural diversity.
