McKenzie College is a premier private career college that offers industry-relevant training in a variety of certificate and diploma programs in the areas of Art, Design, IT and English as a second language, located in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Since opening its doors in 1988, McKenzie College has evolved significantly. It has restructured and merged its multiple locations throughout Atlantic Canada. Relocating to Moncton, New Brunswick in 1997, it quickly became known for providing young minds the inspiration and technical skills necessary to become great artists and designers. In more recent years, McKenzie College has expanded its focus to introduce programs not only in art and design, but also in the IT industry and language training.

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

McKenzie College’s campus is located in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. McKenzie College offers programs in Art and Design, Social Entrepreneurship and IT. The college also includes the McKenzie Language Center. McKenzie College’s Language Center offers numerous English Language courses for international students who wish to improve their language skills before pursuing a program at McKenzie College or any other College/ University. This includes Atlantic Business College, Eastern College and Oulton College, all of which are also participating in the Provincial Nominee Program.

Accomplishments and Alumni 

The faculty staff is a mix of academic scholars and industry professionals that help students explore the theoretical as well as practical aspects of their chosen field. Further, most of the courses provided by McKenzie college are of 8 months to 1 year and assist students build a basic foundation in a creative field of their interest. It is Canada’s premier private career college, which provides industry relevant training through their certificates and diplomas. Alumni from McKenzie College include the likes of Chris Braind (Graphic Designer), Courtney Donnelly (Experiential Designer) and Samantha McKinley (Junior Software Tester). 

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies

Starting April 1, 2022, international students who graduate from McKenzie College and have studied in one of 19 identified occupations, will be able to apply to the Provincial Nominee Program, allowing them to work and live in the province while they wait for permanent residency. These professions include, but are not limited to, social and community service workers, early childhood educators and assistants, educational assistants, health-care aides and more. The top companies to hire graduates from are BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, IoM Media Ventures Inc., HB Studios, Electronic Arts(EA) and Loogaroo
