Located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan, Keio University is a private university also known as the oldest institute of modern higher education in Japan. Keio University was established in 1858 by the founder Fukuzawa Yukichias. Keio University is officially accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan. The Graduate School of Business Administration of Keio University was granted accreditation by AACSB International in 2000 which has been renewed twice since then. Keio University ranks 9th in the world in the Times Higher Education ranking. The university is also ranked 34th position globally in the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) and 3rd in Asia.

Keio University has created a serene and focused learning environment for its students due to its location in a quiet residential area. The key feature of Keio University is it promotes multidisciplinary research under the initiative of Longevity, Security and Creativity.
