History, Affiliations and Rankings
In Rome, Italy, John Cabot University (JCU) is a private university with an American aesthetic. It was established in 1972 and provides English-speaking students with undergraduate, graduate, and study abroad programmes. JCU is affiliated with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has granted the Frank J. Guarini School of Business accreditation.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
The Frank J. Guarini Campus, the Tiber Campus, and the Caroline Critelli Guarini Campus on the banks of the Tiber River are the three campuses of the university, all of which are situated in the Trastevere neighbourhood in downtown Rome. The three venues are close to the Vatican and the Roman Forum and are five minutes apart. Formerly a monastery, the Frank J. Guarini complex has a main three-story structure that is flanked by terraces and courtyards. The former chapel is now a study space. JCU offers English-speaking students from more than 60 different nations 13 bachelor's degrees in the humanities, in addition, to study abroad opportunities and a graduate program in Art History.

Every year, more than 1000 visitors and more than 700 degree-seeking students from over 80 different countries attend the university. There are typically fifteen students in each class.
