Instituto Politecnico Nacional (IPN) or the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) was established in 1936 with the idea of integrating and structuring a technical education system in the country. Its mission is to uplift the economic and social condition of Mexico with the help of training, research, technological development and innovation.
