History, Affiliations and Rankings
Established in 1973, EU Business School is a globally recognized business school having campuses in Spain and Germany. It offers students a first-class business education through an innovative teaching approach tailored to practical needs to make sure a high level of employability for the graduating students. In 1985, the institute began its Montreux campus. In 1999, the EU group was brought by Dr. Dirk Craen. In 2013, the EU group expanded to Asia. EU Business School has affiliations with DBS, London Metropolitan University, OMNES Education Group, the University of Derby, the University of Roehampton, and the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. The constant evolution of the courses, offered has been acknowledged by leading international rankings with prestigious QS currently rating EU Business School with four stars for business excellence and ranks on-campus MBA in the top 140 worldwide and their online MBA program at 20th globally. EU Business School ranks #23 by the América Economía in its Global MBA Ranking 2021.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
EU Business School have two campuses in Barcelona, Spain, situated near the city center. The campus has two state-of-the-art buildings. EU campuses are situated on the Mediterranean coastline, among the Swiss Alps, and in the economic capital of Germany, providing students the opportunity to live in four distinct and enriching atmospheres. These buildings have over 35 classrooms and study rooms. Every campus has a library that has a broad range of collections of printed and electronic resources for learning, teaching, and research. These buildings also have a student lounge to sit, relax and engage in fun activities. The institute offers bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. programs with specializations in business administration, tourism, communication, international business, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and digital business. The institute offers small, dynamic classes in English, with the best of both North American and European academic curricula. EU Business School provides state-accredited university programs awarded through academic affiliations by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), the University of Derby, London Metropolitan University, and Dublin Business School. The institute's business courses are accredited by International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), and Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). EU Business School has a multi-cultural student body and has over an alumni network of 27,000 students. The notable alumni of the institute are Georges Nicolas "Nick" Hayek Jr. (Businessman), Gérard Dubois (Chef and Businessman), Alexander Nikolayevich Vinokourov (Professional Road Bicycle Racer), and Steve Guerdat (Olympic-Level Equestrian).
Student Diversity and Visiting Companies
EU Business School has about 3,000 students on-campus, out of which about 1,400 are pursuing higher education at the institute. Being a business school, the institute does understand the purpose of having a more diverse student body. So, the institute attracts a multi-cultural student body. The institute has over 70 nationalities in its student body coming on campus for its Masters in Business Administration program and #2 in cultural diversity by the América Economía. EU Business School has been labeled as the education leader in diversity by the Global MBA QS rankings. The students get a job offer from the institute within 6 months of graduating.
