1. Application Process

You can apply through the UCAS application 

  • Register on the official site and you will be provided with your username details
  • Sign in and fill in all the details
  • Select the desired university and degree 
  • Complete filling your education history with all the qualifications.
  • Fill in the details of your employment history.
  • Fill in your personal statement.
  • Submit the application form by paying the mentioned fees.

You can also submit your application by directly registering on the official university website.

2. Documents Required

  • Official academic transcripts/records from all previous institutions.
  • Non-English transcripts along with their certified translations.
  • Transcripts certified by a gazetted registrar.
  • Documents should be sent - sealed and enveloped - from the issuing institute.
  • A minimum grade of 2.1 in the last two years of education
  • GPA of 3.5 as per US standards
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Letter of recommendation.
  • An updated CV with educational qualifications and professional history.
  • Letter of Intent/ Statement of purpose

  • Courtauld Scholarship: Provides financial assistance to postgraduate students when possible in the form of scholarships and bursaries.
  • The James Hughes-Hallett Undergraduate Scholarship: The scholarship is worth £10,000 over the duration of your three-year degree.
  • Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts South-East England (CHASE) funding: It is a scholarship scheme for students applying or already enrolled to PhD programs.

You may apply for more than one program but will need to complete separate applications for each program.
The University does not allow late applications for MA in Curating the Art Museum or Research. They may view late applications for the other programs – please check the How to Apply page to see if the program you are interested in is still accepting applications. A late application will be concocted and considered after applications received before the deadline.
The University does not accept applications for deferred entry into our postgraduate programs.
The University does not allow the opportunity to study our MA History of Art, MA Curating, or Graduate Diploma programs on a part-time basis.
