BPP University, founded in 1851, originated from its three founders Alan Brierley, Richard Price, and Charles Prior, who established the Brierley Price Prior University in 1975 to teach students in Accounting. The university was established in the year 1992 as a for-profit type institution by Apollo Education Group. It is an American Private Education company that acquired BPP Holding back in 2009. In 2007, BPP received permission to give degrees for the first time, and in 2020, permission to do so indefinitely. BPP University College of Professional Studies received the designation of the university in 2013 and changed its name to BPP University. It is accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for Higher Education in the United Kingdom. In comparison to the Russell Group of 24 top universities, BPP University scores first for the percentage of UK postgraduate students who found work and are in highly skilled occupations.

The university has one main campus located in London, UK. The university has 13 centers, in eight locations across England and online around the world. The schools of Business & Technology, Nursing, Health, and Law are all located within BPP University and deliver excellent education and training tailored according to each student’s specific interests.
