Initially called the Brandon Vocational Training Centre, Assiniboine Community College (ACC) was founded in the year 1961. Situated in the city of Manitoba, the college has multiple campuses and centres in Brandon, Winnipeg and Dauphin. At present, the college offers more than 40 certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, and apprenticeship programs across various disciplines. Finance, Accounting, Geographic Information Systems, Sustainable Food Systems, Human Resource Management, and Marketing are some of the fields in which advanced diplomas or certificates are offered. Every year, more than 11.000 students enrol into part-time, evening and off-campus programs. ACC also offers an MBA in community Development at the Brandon Campus in collaboration with Cape Breton University. Practical Nursing, Agribusiness, Interactive Media Arts, and Business Administration are some of the other popular programs of the college. Assiniboine College offers practical training in Nursing courses at both Brandon and Winnipeg campuses. For international students, only a select number of programs are available for which the admissions start in the month of September. The fees for international students generally range between $14,270 - $23,430.
