The Globis Management School was founded in 1992 by the GLOBIS Corporation. From 20 students in 1992 to Japan's No. 1 MBA programme today. GLOBIS has taught millions of professionals and built a business ecosystem that has a long-term impact since its establishment. It began a collaborative MBA programme with the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom in 1996. The Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) has fully certified GLOBIS University, and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) has recognized it .

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

Globis University includes five campuses in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, and Fukuoka, as well as two satellite campuses in Yokohama and Mito, Ibaraki. The main campus is located near Kojimachi Station, which is in the centre of metropolitan Tokyo and only a 10-minute walk from the grounds of the Tokyo Imperial Palace. The interactive aspect of GLOBIS sessions promotes teamwork and connection. All classrooms are outfitted with a projector, huge whiteboards, chairs, tables, and a lectern. GLOBIS courses emphasise practical, relevant business skills taught by top industry professionals. Programs offered at the university include the Full-Time MBA, Part-Time MBA, Online-MBA, and Pre-MBA.

Accomplishments and Alumni 

GLOBIS University in Tokyo is the largest business graduate school in Japan. It has successfully been able to make its presence in Shanghai, Singapore and Bangkok. The university also works towards achieving its full potential in sustainability. GLOBIS has taught nearly 4,500 alumni and more than one million professionals through its corporate training programs at one of five campuses nationwide and online. Some of the notable alumni are Eri Machii – Founder/CEO AfriMedico, Miko Tan – Co-founder TeamRed and Wilson Chan – CEO Buyandship.

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies

GLOBIS University now has over 860 students enrolled, with 760 students enrolled in the Japanese MBA programme and 100 students enrolled in the English MBA programme. In 2016, the first online MBA programme in Asia was launched by GLOBIS University. The university employs around 60 academic staff members. Some of the top employers of university graduates are Accenture, Panasonic, Microsoft and Salesforce.
