Study in UK: Applications Open for QUB India Academic Excellence Award 2024 

The Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB) is offering India Academic Excellence Award for the academic year 2024-25. The award is available to Indian students for the 1st year of their undergraduate studies at the university. A total of 15 scholarships are available, amounting to £7,500. To attain the scholarship, applicants must be students/or have studied in one of the eligible schools in India and must have attained an overall 85% or above in their 12th Grade. The deadline for the application is on 7 June 2024. Interested students wanting to commence their studies in September must apply for the same before the deadline. 

India Academic Excellence Award 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the India Academic Excellence Award 2024 are as follows:

• The applicant must be a new international student domiciled in India 
• Must have secured a minimum of 85% in the CBSE Board examination
• Additionally, the applicant must be of international fee-paying status and must have accepted an offer letter of admission from the university for an undergraduate program 
• The student must meet the academic requirements and the English language requirements of the university 
• Moreover, the applicant must ordinarily be a resident of India and must be self-funding education at the university
• The applicant must attend/have attended one of the schools listed under the eligible schools category
• Application has to be submitted for the scholarship before the deadline

India Academic Excellence Award 2024 Terms and Conditions 

The India Academic Excellence Award Terms and Conditions are as follows:

• The scholarship is available for the 1st year of study only. Furthermore, upon enrollment, the scholarship will deduct the amount from the gross tuition fees. It’s important to note that this amount cannot substitute any required deposit.
• Applicants cannot use this scholarship for entry in 2025/26 or any subsequent years. Additionally, the scholarship prohibits transfer to another university.
• Students who have already received a scholarship from a government, private organization, or charity are ineligible for this scholarship. However, it’s important to note that students receiving educational loans are exempt from this criterion.
• The India Academic Excellence scholarship excludes students enrolled in undergraduate programs in Medicine, Agricultural Technology, Dentistry, and Theology.
• This scholarship excludes distance learning programs, non-standard fee courses like part-time programs, and foundation degree programs.
