Study in South Korea: Details Out for Korea University Undergraduate Scholarships 2024 

Korea University (KU) has updated its details regarding international undergraduate scholarships. Newly admitted students and current students are eligible for scholarships for the academic year 2024-25. The scholarships offer reduced tuition fees for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Interested students can apply for the scholarship in January for the spring semester, and July for the fall semester. The Global Services Centre will notify the selected students by email. Afterward, the scholarship will apply to the tuition invoice for the following semester.. Korea University ranks 79 in the world. Hence, it is an excellent university to study abroad.

Korea University Undergraduate Scholarships Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility criteria for the undergraduate scholarships are as follows:

• The international student admitted to KU with the international student’s qualifications administered by the International Education Team. It means newly admitted students who have acquired Korean nationality are not eligible.
• The applicant must have completed 1 semester at the university. However, the Challenge Scholarship and High Achievers Scholarship applicants need to complete 2 semesters.
• Additionally, the applicant must have achieved a minimum of 12 credits in the semester which GPAs are considered 
• Moreover, the applicant must not have any academic warning or violation of academic regulations in the previous semester.

Interested students can apply for the Challenge Scholarship and the Bright Futures Scholarship. In the case of the Excellence Scholarship, and the High Achievers Scholarship no separate application is needed.
