Study in Canada: Humber College International Entrance Scholarship Open for 2024

The Humber College is offering International Entrance Scholarship for the January intake. The university grants the merit scholarship to students with exceptional academic performance. That is, students need to secure a minimum of 85% and must have cleared the IELTS exam with a minimum score of 6.5. 

Graduate Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma students can avail the International Entrance Scholarship. The scholarship benefit is a CAD 2,000 reduction in tuition fees during the first 2 semesters. Therefore an amount of AD 1,000 per semester will be provided to the beneficiaries.  The scholarship deadline is 30th September 2023.

International Entrance Scholarship Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Humber College International Entrance Scholarship are as follows:

• Bachelor’s degree scholarships are available to students who have completed high school/secondary education. 
• Moreover, these students have to be non-transfer students. That is, they must not have previously attended college or have been a part of the Humber English for Academic Purposes/EAP program.
• Scholarships are automatically granted to students based on their academic performance.

International Entrance Scholarship Selection Process 

The university will automatically consider high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence for the scholarship. However, due to the limited number of scholarships, they will select students with high GPAs.

The Humber College admission team will be calculating the GPA of eligible students on the basis of their high school transcripts. Hence, no separate application is required.

International Entrance Scholarship Award Distribution

A total of 20 scholarships are available. Out of this, the university grants 15 scholarships to students for the upcoming January intake, and it grants the remaining 5 scholarships to students joining in the month of May. Moreover, every starting semester the scholarship recipient is from a different country. The International Entrance Scholarships are granted on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, the student must have received the offer letter and confirmed the acceptance before the deadline. The International entrance scholarship is tenable with other awards and scholarships.
