The University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is a scholarship program for international students. The scholarship is available to students entering any university division for the first time. That is, Graduate, Undergraduate, Collegiate, Professional, Applied Continuing Education (PACE), and English Language Program (ELP) students are eligible. The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee discount. Currently, applications for undergraduate, PACE and ELP Students are closed. However, those from graduate & collegiate, courses can still apply. The President’s Scholarship for World Leaders eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Must be an international student entering their first program at the university
- Must have an equivalent of 80% GPA (Canadian) based on the class 12th courses used for admission. The UWinnipeg International Credential Evaluators would assist in the grade conversions.
- Additionally, the applicant must demonstrate leadership qualities, and complete the admission application to UW by the deadline
- Moreover, the student must complete the admission process by submitting the application fees and supporting documents
- Must be registered and maintain a full-time course load

The President’s Scholarship for World Leaders application process is as follows:
- First, complete the admission application for the selected program.
- Receive the UWinnipeg Student number allocated by the admissions department.
- Next, complete the scholarship application form. Ensure to fill in all the details. Each student can only submit one application.
- Lastly, submit the required documents: Resumé / C.V, Two Reference Letters, and a Personal Statement.
- Additionally, translate the documents that are in a foreign language and submit the same
- Ensure that the application is submitted before the deadline
