The UK government will open the first ballot for the India Young Professional Scheme today on 20th February 2024. Under this scheme, 3000 Indians will be offered UK visas to study, work, or live abroad. As per the tweet posted by the British High Commission in India, the ballot will be opened at 2:30 PM today and go on until 22nd February, 2024. Indian graduates who want to live, work, or study in the UK for up to 2 years, can enter the ballot to get a chance to apply for the visa.

Eligibility Criteria
On the official website, 3000 slots are available for the Indians. Candidates must submit important details such as names, dates of birth, passport details, photographs, phone numbers, and mail addresses. To be eligible the candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Candidate should be aged between 18 and 30 years old.
- They should be at least 18 years of age before planning to travel to UK
- They must hold a bachelor’s degree level or higher
- They should have savings of £2,530 to support themselves in the UK
- They should not have dependent children under the age of 18 who are living with them
