Extend their Student Status

Students who have finished a one year course may apply for a second course and extend their study permit. They should avoid to claim their PGWP to which they are entitled after graduating. Instead they should use the option of program stacking to increase their PGWP that they will eventually get after graduating from the second study program. Usually, a 1 year study program gets them a 1 year PGWP but a 2 year study program gets them a 3 year PGWP.
