Australia has recorded an unequalled rise in Australian University graduate employment rates for full-time jobs since 2009.

As per the recent report by the Ministry of Education, Australia, the country has recorded an unparalleled rise in employment rates of Australian University Graduates. This result is based on the Graduate Outcomes Survey.

The survey gathers data on the employment rate of students who have recently completed their graduation or postgraduation. However, from 2021, the employment rate of international graduates has increased by 14.7 per cent.

This number is the highest level on record to date. Therefore, according to the most recent calculations, 57.7 per cent of international graduates are getting full-time employment in Australia

While considering overall employment, the results are even more overwhelming. 71.5% of international graduates in Australia got employment in full-time, part-time and other sorts of employment. 

International Students Employment Statistics in Australia

Graduate Outcomes Survey (GoS) is conducted by Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT). Also, according to GoS, the results include graduates of Australian higher education institutions who have completed their education within 4 to 6 months of the survey. 

The median salary for full-time employment undergraduates and postgraduates is AUD 60K. For international students with research degrees, the median salary is around AUD 89.5K. The numbers have risen after the dip in the labour market marked in the year 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

This is a significant upsurge compared to 2021 figures of AUD 54,300 for international undergraduates, AUD 54,800 for international postgraduates and AUD 86,900 for international research graduates.
