Eligibility
In order to get Linköping University Scholarship the students need to pursue Masters’s program in Sweden and also be a citizen of a country outside the European Union and Switzerland. Also, he/she has to meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
- The student needs to apply till the deadline positively for the first admission round.

Rules and Regulations to be Followed to Avail Linköping University Scholarship
Following are some of the rules that a candidate must follow in order to avail of the prestigious Linköping University Scholarship-
- The applicant should be a citizen of countries outside EU nations and Switzerland and must pay the tuition fees. The scholarship ceases to be available if the applicant’s status switches to one of a non-fee payer. If a student’s obligation to pay tuition fees is terminated, they must notify Linköping University in writing.
- An awarded scholarship may be revoked by Linköping University. This may apply to students who have had their academic progress halted.
- The full or partial cost of tuition is covered by the scholarship. If the scholarship only partially covers the tuition, the student is still responsible for the remaining balance by the payment deadline.
- Only the year and master’s program listed in the Notification of Selection Results are eligible for the scholarship offer. The scholarship/fee typically covers a workload of 30 credits per semester for students enrolled in master’s programs. (Some variations, such as 28 credits in the fall and 32 credits in the spring, may be permitted as long as the courses are part of the program and the overall total does not exceed 120 credits for a two-year master’s degree.) There will be an extra charge levied for any further courses taken after 30 credits.
- The Linköping University scholarship will be withdrawn from applicants if they are unable to obtain a residence permit from the Swedish Migration Board prior to the start of their studies or the registration deadline.
- The Linköping University scholarship will be revoked for candidates who were given a scholarship by the Swedish Institute.
- In order to qualify for the Linköping International Scholarship for the following academic year, recipients must pass at least 75% of their courses during the first academic year. Only course results from the normal academic year that were recorded on July 1 will be taken into account in this evaluation. For example, if you take 60 courses per year, you must have 45 credits from your program finished by July 1 in order to keep your scholarship.
