How to Check the GRE Score Card?
The GRE scorecard is generated by the officials of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) within 10 to 12 days after the commencement of the exam. The GRE Scorecards are of two types:
- One of the candidates (Test-Taker)
- One for the institution
The GRE scorecard is available online on the website of ETS. Candidates can check their GRE score after it is released. The Educational Testing Service will notify every candidate about the declaration of the scorecard. Candidates who appeared for the GRE can download their scorecards by following the instructions mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of ETS
- On the ETS website, log in using your email address and password.
- On the portal, look for the ‘GRE Score Card’ option and click on it.
- Your GRE scorecard will appear on your screen.
- Check all the details mentioned on it carefully and download it.
How the GRE Score is Calculated?
There are various factors which play their roles in calculating the GRE score. The GRE scores depend on candidates’ performance in all the sections of the exam.
Every GRE scorecard will have two components, namely, a scaled score (i.e. 130–170) and a percentile rank. Usually, the percentile rank is considered to be more important than the scaled score since the percentile rank indicates how your GRE scores compare to those of other test takers.
