What is the Best Time to Apply for UG and PG Courses?
In most nations, the academic year begins in February or March. As a result, all UG and PG courses frequently begin during one of the months. Some universities/institutions may also provide semester admission (two intakes per year, in February and September), whereas others may offer trimester entrance (three intakes – February, August and September). While it is not required, most universities have at least two intakes every year.
The application process for universities begins at least 5 months before the start of the programme. In other words, admission for February admissions should ideally begin in September and end by late December, or in rare cases, in January. This is true for both undergraduate and graduate programmes. It is usually advisable to verify with the Recruitment Office of the university of interest to confirm the deadlines.

The Application Process for Both UG and PG Courses
In general, the application process for universities and colleges in other countries is straightforward and comparable to that of UK colleges. For university admissions in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, there is a centralised body called the Universities Admission Centre (UAC). Almost all undergraduate applications in the region, as well as some selective postgraduate applications, are processed through UAC.
Students should apply directly to the university/institution in Australia for additional regions and courses. If students choose to apply for a VET/TAFE program at any institute, the same applies to all regions. This is true even for the governments of New South Wales and Australia’s Capital Territory. The general Application Process for both UG and PG Courses is listed below:
Score Requirements
English is the official language of the majority of countries across the world. As a result, English language competency is required for Indian students. Both IELTS and TOEFL exams are accepted in the majority of Australian colleges, and students can take both. Some Australian universities also recognise C1 Advanced, Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), and Pearson Test of English (PTE).
It is a good idea to double-check the required test results before taking the exam. On average, an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher is necessary, as is a TOEFL score of 92 or higher. This is another average score that may differ from university to university.
Students are recommended to take the tests long before the registrations open to allow for a re-test if necessary.
While there are no standard scholastic assessments necessary for undergraduate studies, many universities will require the GMAT or GRE for postgraduate studies. Again, this is not compulsory, and it is always advisable to verify with the University of choice before you plan to write them.

Registering with the college
Almost all institutions throughout the world provide online registration, allowing students to register from the convenience of their own homes. This is a critical step because it will provide you with every piece of the necessary information. After registering, you can begin preparing the documentation required by the institute/university.
It is best to register ahead of time so that you can finish the applications at your own pace.
Almost all universities will need you to submit an admission essay in accordance with their policies. While universities may merely request a Statement of Purpose for undergraduate courses, post-graduate courses frequently include a series of questions. These questions are offered to you throughout the registration process. Admission essays are important components of the admissions process, and students should not rush to submit their applications. A student should initially write a rough draught and then expand on it over time. In addition, you may be required to submit your résumé or CV.
Submitting the Application, The Essays, The Transcripts and the Test Scores
When you are ready, send the applications together with the relevant exam results and academic records. Almost every university has an online submission system. If a physical set is required, you must courier it ahead of time to avoid delays.
Application Process for both UG and PG: Importance of LORs
While some institutions may require you to send letters of reference with your application, others may request them after you have filed your application. You should be prepared to answer any queries that the institution may pose to your recommender. Often, reference letters from at least two, and frequently three, people are requested. These recommenders could be professors, teachers, or anyone you’ve worked with (reporting managers/colleagues).

A student can pursue two academic programmes, one full-time physical and one Open and Distance Learning (ODL)/Online, or up to two ODL/Online programmes concurrently.
If a student is eligible to pursue a postgraduate (PG) degree and also wishes to enrol in a bachelor’s degree in a different domain, he or she will be able to do so. The class times for both programmes must not overlap.
According to the current UGC (University Grants Commission) rules and regulations, students can now pursue two degrees concurrently, which is applicable to both regular and distance courses.
