Shifting is not an easy task!
Even if it is for a few days, a few months or in the case of studying abroad, a few years. When a person is planning to leave the home and go out, they think about every possible situation. Example “What if I do not find my type of toothpaste there?” let’s pack it up! Easy! or “What if the gas cylinder does not operate the same way?” let’s pack that up too. Ha Ha not as easy as the toothpaste!
When you are moving abroad, you will have a lot of questions in the middle, a lot of doubts and a very very long, or say a never-ending list of stuff to pack to take along. Will you be taking all of them? Can you take all of them? No, you can not!
This non-allowance of taking your own home with you to another country sometimes makes the packing nightmare. Let’s help you out! Let’s make a list of things you should not be trying to pack when you are moving abroad to make your trip and stay comfortable.

Do not be a showroom
We know how much you love your clothes, and we also know that you wish to have a different outfit for 365 days of the day and come out as a stud, who does not repeat any piece of clothing, at least for a year. But do you think it is even useful to take so many clothes with you? Worst-case scenario, what if you grow out of them? What if they get eaten by a rat, what if the clothes lose their charm, or they do not match the lifestyle there and you have to change your whole wardrobe? So the best way to not get yourself into a problem is to take only the required clothes because we know that you definitely go shopping every season and multiply your wardrobe real quick.
You are paying, you will get a bed to sleep
Yes, a lot of people have the urge to take the bed, the mattress, the blanket and whatnot. The bed can not be taken but trying to carry a mattress or the blankets is also a waste of energy. I am sure you have made your living arrangements in the country. And the place you have booked is definitely going to provide you with the best bed, mattress and blankets. If you have hygiene issues, you can get all of them drycleaned, but taking new ones is simply foolishness.

Stationary is available wherever there are schools
If you are going to study, you will definitely need the stationeries. Yes, this same thought stays in everyone’s mind. But you think carrying stationary and adding on weight is actually worth it. Can you not take other important things instead of the stationary? Because I am sure other countries do not function without the pens and the papers. Every country has stores that will have your stationery needs. The suggestion is not to pack the stationeries and put them there.
If you get a washroom, you get the sanitary too
Packing the sanitary needs is also instinctive. Most of us end up packing a lot of sanitary products with us, which actually is not needed. You will get enough toiletries in the accommodation and even if you do not get them, there is always the option to purchase sanitaries. And I am sure you will not need abundance for your flight. The flight will also provide you with the toiletries. S packing it is really close to useless.
Did you imagine What If Your Study Abroad Flight Gets Hijacked?
Do not play a terrorist
Do not take the items that are not allowed in the plan. Planning to smuggle gold? Drop the idea. Planning to take litres of petrol? Drop the idea. Before you start to pack, check out the list of permitted and non-permitted items and pack accordingly. Do not carry any unpermitted material and stand in the line the doubtful people to be allowed to travel or not.
Smuggling food?
Leaving your favourite food behind can be a challenge. Everyone would think of packing bulks of storable food so that they can cut their time in the foreign land without missing out on the food. People usually pack the food so much, that they have to open their bags at the airport and reduce the food out there and waste it, or rather, a lot of time the food just gets spoiled or misses the expiry. It’s better to leave than waste. Pack food according to the needs, according to the weight and the expiry too.
Specially, understanding the limits
Understanding the limitations of packing is really important, we can not just pack everything and anything. It is really important to understand and respect the rules of the airlines. The weight limitations of the airlines. Working according to the guidelines is going to be helpful for you and will help you only to have a safe and troubleless journey.
