For this scholarship, a merit list will be released which will list names of candidates who are eligible for the scholarship program.

  • Must have scored 55% or above in UG degree if the candidate is applying to a PG course and 55% or above in a PG degree if the candidate is applying for a PhD.
  • The student should belong to SC, DN (Denotified Nomadic) and SNT (Semi-Nomadic Tribes), Landless Agricultural Laborers and Traditional Artisans. 
  • It is meant for students wanting to pursue Masters and Ph.D in the following subject areas-Humanities and Social Science, Accounting and Finance, International Commerce, Agricultural Sciences and Medicine, Pure Sciences and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Management.

The Great Wall Scholarship Program

The Great Wall scholarship program was launched for students who wish to pursue higher education at universities in China.

  • This scholarship scheme will cover students’ tuition fees, regular stipend, accommodation expenses, and medical insurance.
  • To become eligible for the Great Wall scholarship scheme, students must have completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree in a particular field and must not be more than 45 years of age.
  • Through this scholarship scheme, students will be given INR 35,000 to 40,000 monthly.

Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowships

This scholarship is offered by the U.S.- Indian Educational Foundation (USIEF) to scholars who are part of an Indian institution to conduct 6-9 months of their remaining research in a US institution. The scholarship is awarded for the duration of 1-2 years and is awarded on the basis of merit

  • Under this fellowship, a candidate gets Airfare (Round-trip economy class), a monthly stipend, Accident and health coverage, a settling-in allowance, and J-1 visa assistance.
  • The candidate must be registered for PhD at an Indian institution. 
  • The thesis submission date should not be earlier than 3 months after the end date of the scholarship.
