On 17th September 2023, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a metro ride with the commuters of Delhi to Dwarka sec 21 Metro Station, from where he visited the newly built Yashbhoomi Convention Centre. Features of the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre

built at a total cost of INR 5,400 crores, the Yashobhoomi Centre has gathered the attention of all the art enthusiasts in the world. Yashobhoomi is the Phase 1 of the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC). This convention centre is constructed by some of the best Engineers in the world and will hold important international events. Here are all the features of the Yashoobhoomi Centre.

• Spread over more than 73,000 square metres, this centre consists of 15 event rooms, the grand ballroom, an auditorium and 13 meeting rooms.
• This world-class convention centre can host an event for more than 11,000 people at a single time.
• The country’s largest LED media facade is installed in this centre to enhance visual experiences and communication.
• The Centre also consist of a Plenary Hall with a total of 6000 seating capacity for grand events.
• The auditorium has an innovative seating system and an adaptable configuration for various seating arrangements.
• The Grand Ballroom can hold a gathering of 2,500 guests and is available for distinguished functions or esteemed galas.

Along with the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated the Bharata Mandapam, which was the venue for the recently concluded G20 Summit in New Delhi.
