The theme for the Republic Day Celebration in School for 2024 is “India-Mother of Democracy” and “Viksit Bharat” means Developed India.
India became a Republic on 26 January 1950. On this day the Constitution was India came into effect which was written by Dr BR Ambedkar.
Though it is a National holiday in India, Schools in India conduct a Republic Day Celebration for students to encourage and teach them about the importance of Republic Day and the history behind it.

1. Flag Hoisting
