Sample 1: Letter to Your Friend or Cousin Telling Him/Her About a Difficult Choice You Have to Make
25-B,3rd Floor, Friends Colony, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi – 110092 January 5, 2023 Dear Nishchay, I hope that this letter finds you and your family in great health. I am good too. Recently I came across a crossroads where I had to make a difficult choice. I thought why not share this experience with? I have to make a choice between two colleges. One of them is my dream college but the other one ranks in the top 10 colleges of the world. But I have made my decision. I am gonna go with my dream college after all it is a lifetime opportunity. I have waited my whole life to get into that college and I finally have the opportunity so why turn it down? I am gonna embrace it, accept and grow with it. And it is not the institute, it is the student who has to make the effort and if you put your hundred per cent into what you are doing, then you will surely succeed. So yes, I am gonna go with my dream college. It definitely wasn’t an easy decision. My family had a different perspective than me, but I convinced them. So it’s all good. Hope that you are growing in life too and your studies are great. We haven’t met in a long time so when you can find time, call me and we will plan an outing together. Till then, take care. Your dear friend, Himanshu. |

24-B,5th Floor, Parivaar Apartments, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110052 6th May 2023 Dear Gautami, I hope that you and your family are in great health. I am good too. Recently I came across a difficult choice that I have to make. It wasn’t easy, but I did make one and I thought I would share the same with you. The choice I had to make was between two job offers. Both of them had different pros and cons. One of them was closer to my house but had working hours between 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. while the other was a little far away but had working hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The first one offers good incentives but lacks promotion opportunities and the other one has low initial pay but has great growth potential. There are many different perks of both jobs. I am considering the second one keeping in mind everything. I hope that this decision of mine turns out to be great for my future. I hope that you are doing great in life and your work is going well. We haven’t met in a long time so when you have time, let us catch up. Till then take care of yourself. Your dear cousin, Abhimanyu. |
