And the conditions during the same were insanely tough and harsh. The terrain there was the toughest too. Hence, on this day, we pay our respects and homage to those martyrs to honour their love for their nation and the indomitable spirit that they showed which continues to inspire to this day. A reminder of determination, patriotism and strength, is what Kargil Vijay Diwas stand as. Not only is it a day that teaches us a lot but also it is a day of victory. It taught us that it is very important to be prepared beforehand, be vigilant and have strategic acumen.
