The establishment of the US was a direct response to the atrocities of World War II, with the main aim of preventing such kind of devastating conflicts in the future.

Structure and function of the UN

It has 6 main organs:- The General Council, The Security Council, The Trusteeship, The International Court of Justice, The Economic and Social Council, and The UN Secretariat. Each of these organs plays a crucial role in the UN’s operations. This can range from policy-making and peacekeeping to administrative functions and judicial matters.
