Ashoka University Campus

Location and Area

Ashoka University is located in Sonipat, Haryana with an approximate area of 25 acres of land. It is built away from the crowded capital city. However, the location of the university is close to all the urban facilities with a calm environment. The area is surrounded by soothing greenery and is perfect for the studious environment.

Architecture

Another key feature of the Ashoka University Campus is its architecture. It has a range of modern buildings including academic blocks and some residential halls. It has a blend of traditional as well as contemporary architecture. The campus buildings have their unique architectural design. 

Buildings

As said before there are many buildings on the Ashoka University campus including the amphitheatre to the auditorium. Ashoka University has two amphitheatres in front of the buildings. The main purpose of these amphitheatres is to be used during the time of cultural events, screenings or competitions. 

Other than amphitheatres, there are auditoriums to cover events organized by the university. The largest auditorium is Dr Reddy’s Auditorium. It is the university’s largest auditorium with a total capacity of 400 people. This auditorium hosts special lectures and cultural events. 

Campus Life

Life at Ashoka University is very vibrant and includes a lot of cultural as well as intellectual activities. There is a dedicated committee of “The Office of Student Affairs” that aims to provide opportunities that help them to grow and gain some experiences in their lifetime. 

There are many general services and facilities provided at the Ashoka University Campus. Some facilities include couriers, SIM Cards, Housekeeping, Laundry services, ATMs, Locker facilities, and Mailrooms. These facilities make student life on this campus very comfortable and enriching. 

Additional Facilities

Other than the basic facilities, some additional facilities like a unisex salon, printing and photocopy centre, a general store, stationery store, water-coolers, microwaves, refrigerators, and a common lounge are also provided on the campus. The students can have easy access to all the facilities on their campus only.
