VITMEE Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
There is a set eligibility criterion that the candidates must meet to be eligible for the VITMEE 2023-24. There are two essential eligibility criteria that a candidate must meet which are discussed below:
Nationality
- The candidate must be a resident of India and should have graduated from any Government recognised institute/university in India.
- For foreign nationals and NRI/PIO, the candidate has to apply for admission separately.
Academic Qualifications

- A full-time degree in the related field of study from a Government recognised/UGC-accredited university or equivalent with a minimum of 60% or first division for the MCA and M.Tech degree programmes.

VITMEE Exam 2023 Application Process
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are interested in pursuing their education from one of the four campuses of VIT can follow the steps detailed below:
Stage I– Registration Process
- The candidates are required to visit the official website.
- Enter the details such as name, date of birth, nationality, gender, mobile number, email id and programme.
- After successful completion, the candidates will receive a provisional registration number and a password on their registered Email ID and phone number.
Stage II– Filling up the Application Form
- Log in with the registered email ID password and password to complete the application process.
- Fill up the personal details, academic qualifications, and communication and permanent address details carefully.
- Choose the examination centre nearest to you.
- Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
- Read carefully and then accept the terms and conditions.
- Verify the details entered by you carefully once more before proceeding further with the application fees.
- After verification, pay the required application fee.
- After successful payment of the application fee you will receive a copy of a receipt, download it and keep it for later reference.

To complete the online application process, the candidate must submit the application fee of INR 1200 at the time of registration. The application fee is non-refundable.

VITMEE Exam 2023 Selection Process
Once the examination has been completed, there will be a series of steps to follow which will be termed the selection process. The steps are as follows:
- There will be a list of candidates based on their performance and rank in the VITMEE 2023.
- The short-listed candidates are required to pay INR 1 lakh as an advance fee.
- However, if the candidate withdraws their admission for any reason, an amount of INR 11,800 will be deducted from the advance fee payment as a processing fee. In such a case, the name of the candidate will be removed from the merit list.

The above-mentioned documents should be submitted on or before the 15th of August 2023, or the admission of the candidate will be cancelled and the admission fee amount will be forfeited.
VITMEE Exam 2023 Tuition Fees
The tuition fee for both the courses in VIT is different from one another. The tuition fee for the MCA course in the first year is INR 1,37,000. However, the fees for M.Tech in VIT range between INR 1,50,000 and 2,99,000 for the first year. An additional payment of INR 3000 is applicable as a caution deposit for both courses which is refundable.
The payment of the fees and the caution deposit is to be made online only. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
FAQs
The application fee for the VITMEE 2023 is the same for both courses. For M.Tech and MCA, the application fee is INR 1200.
The examination will be conducted in the CBT mode and will comprise MCQs only. There will be 100 questions of 1 mark each. The technical skill section is for 80 marks and the English communication skill section is for 20 marks.
