UGC NET Application Dates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC NET exam twice a year. Before the commencement of the exam, the conducting body releases the application dates. The UGC Net Registration process will start in mid-April 2024. Candidates can check the table below to understand the UGC NET application dates.

How to Fill Out UGC NET Application Form?
The UGC Net Registration process starts by registering on the official website of the UGC NET. Candidates interested in appearing for this national-level examination will have to visit the official website of the UGC NET NTA. Candidates can follow the below-given instructions to fill out the UGC NET application form.
- Visit the official website of the UGC NET.
- Under the notification section, look for the UGC NET option and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
- Candidates will have to select between the options of ‘Assitant Professor’ or ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ (JRF) or both.
- The application form requires you to enter your personal information, such as name, contact details, education qualification, etc.
- After filling out all the details, candidates will have to upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee.
Documents Required for UGC Net Registration
While filling out the UGC NET application form, candidates need to upload the necessary documents in the required format. The documents required in the application form are as follows.
- Matriculation Certificate (10th Class)
- Intermediate Certificate (10+2 Class)
- Graduation Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Candidate’s latest passport-size photograph
- Government-issued ID card (Aadhar card/PAN card/ Passport/ Driving license)
Application Fee
While filling out the UGC NET application form, all the candidates are required to pay the application fee to complete their UGC NET application process. The UGC NET application fee can only be paid via Paytm/ SBI//Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI gateways (UPI/debit card/credit card/net banking/). The UGC NET application fee is discussed in the table below.

The UGC NET application forms are to be filled out online only. Candidates will have to visit the official website of the UGC NET to fill out the application form. There are no criteria for offline application forms.
