CG TET Exam 2023: The Chhattisgarh Government Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) is an evaluation test to recruit teachers for Primary and Upper Primary classes. CG TET Exam 2023 is mandatory to pass for candidates wanting to become teachers in the state of Chattisgarh. The examination is conducted by the government of Chhattisgarh State & Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) every year annually.
CG TET Exam 2023 will be held at two levels. Candidates qualifying for level I can teach Primary classes (Classes I-V) while those qualifying for level II can teach Upper Primary classes (Classes VI-VIII). Aspirants can appear for either paper I and paper II or both.

Eligibility Criteria for CG TET Exam 2023
There are two Papers for CG TET 2023 and the candidates must meet a set of eligibility criteria to be eligible for the CG TET Paper I and Paper II for the year 2023. There are three essential eligibility criteria that a candidate must meet, i.e. age, educational qualification, and Nationality. Applications for CG TET Exam 2023
The application form for the CG TET Exam 2023 is expected to be released on the official website soon. The entire process of registration is online and here is how you should register yourself:
- The candidates have to visit the official website of CG TET.
- On the Home Page, register yourself with a One Time Password as New Registration.
- Enter the basic credentials carefully.
- Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and academic qualification certificates.
- After the completion of the process, the candidates will receive a Registration ID and a Password.
- Go back to the Home Page again, and select “Apply Online”.
- Log In with the Registration ID and Password.
- Now enter the details as asked in the registration by CG TET Exam 2023.
- Read carefully before accepting the Declaration.
- Once submitted, pay the registration fee.
- Once the registration fee is successfully paid, download the receipt and keep it safe for future reference.
Application Fee for CG TET 2023
The application fee for the CG TET Examination 2023 is compulsory. Without successful payment, the application form will be cancelled. The application fee payment can only be submitted through the online payment gateway using a Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking. The application fee is non-refundable. The application fee can’t be paid through offline mode.

CG TET Paper II Exam Pattern 2023
The CG TET Exam Paper II is a level II for the candidates aspiring to be the teacher in the Upper primary class. Much Paper Iper-I, the candidates will get 150 minutes for Paper II. Aspirants can choose to attempt either the Mathematics & Science section or the Social Sciences section of the paper based on their preferences. The questions from the remaining sections are mandatory for the candidates to qualify for the exam.

The total number of marks for each paper is 150. For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking applicable in the CG TET Exam 2023.
