SLET 2023 Result: State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) Commission Assam is conducted on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) by the National Testing Agency. This exam is conducted to test the applicant’s eligibility for colleges and universities. This competitive exam takes place for the post of Assistant Professor in the Government College of Assam.

As mentioned above, the State Level Eligibility Test has already happened. It is expected that the result will soon be declared by the end of April The SLET Commission will release the result on the official website, i.e. sletneonline.co.in.
Steps to Download the SLET Result
In order to download the SLET Result 2023, all applicants will have to visit the official website as mentioned above. Once the applicant has opened the official website, then they can follow the below-mentioned steps to download the Assam SLET merit 2023. Here are the steps:
- All applicants must first open the official website of the Assam State Level Eligibility Test (website mentioned above).
- Click on the latest updates.
- Under the download option, the link to the Assam SLET scorecard will be available.
- Then, enter the application number and date of birth
- Once this is done, click on the ‘submit’ button which will show you the result on the screen.
- Lastly, download the result and save it for future reference.

SLET Answer Key
Candidates should keep in mind that the answer key is released one week after the exam. One can check the same through online mode. The answer keys are always released on time so the candidate can cross-check the answer.
The answer key gives out all the details about the question which is asked in the question paper. Lastly, the answer key gives a fair idea as to how they have attempted the examination.
SLET Qualifying Marks 2023
The minimum SLET qualifying marks are set by the SLET Commission for different category candidates. Accordingly, for un-reserved candidates, 44 per cent marks and for reserved candidates, 35 per cent marks in aggregate need to be obtained so as to qualify for the SLET exam.
Keep in mind, only those candidates will be awarded the SLET Passc certificate who obtain the cutoff marks as per their category.

All those candidates who fall in the general category must obtain at least 40 per cent aggregate marks in all three papers. On the other hand, candidates who fall in SC/ST/PWD/OBC category will have to get at least 30 per cent in aggregate.
In order to qualify for the SLET exam, the candidate will need to refer to a minimum of 3 years of previous papers in order to have clarity as to how the paper will look like. Next, the student will have to make short notes during their preparation which can then be used for revision at the last moment.
After the examination, all applicants will receive a certificate mentioning they gave the exam which will be valid for a lifetime. Keep in mind, that the exam will be conducted in English.
All candidates wishing to apply for the SLET Assam should make sure that they have a Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent of marks from a government a recognized university.
