Counselling Process of PU BA LLB Entrance Exam
The candidates who have been shortlisted are called for the counselling session in which registration, document verification and seat allotment will be done. In the counselling session, the candidates will be offered admission to UILS Chandigarh, UILS Hoshiarpur, and UIL Ludhiana for 2023-24 session.
The university declares the result after conducting the exams. The result will be announced on the official website of Punjab University. Candidates can check their results by logging into the admission portal with their credentials.
The cut-off list indicates the minimum number of marks required for admission to Punjab University and its law colleges. For each centre, the cut-off will be released separately. There are some factors which determine the cut-off list, they are as follows:
- Total number of vacant seats in the course
- The total number of qualified candidates
Documents Required for Counselling Process
There are some documents which the candidate has to bring to the counselling session in order to complete their application process. The documents are as follows:
- Original Marksheets of class 10th and 12th
- Admit Card
- Gap Year Affidavit
- Reservation category certificate (required only if the candidate has taken admitted under the reservation category)
- Proof of identity (Aadhar, driving license, etc)
- Sports certificates if the candidate has taken admission taken under the sports category

Steps to Attend the Counselling Session
There are certain steps that the candidates need to follow if they are attending offline counselling sessions. The steps are as follows:
- The candidates who are called for the counselling session must be present at the counselling venue.
- The candidates are supposed to mark their attendance at the centre once reporting is done.
- The candidates are supposed to carry all their important documents to the venue. The original as well as a copy of each document.
- If the candidate has applied for various law centres, they must report to each centre separately.
