Procedure for NMIMS LAT 2023 Counselling
Candidates have to report to the allotted college for completing the admission process. The counselling will be conducted individually by each of the participating institutions. Only the selected candidates have to get their documents verified and submit the counselling fee within the stipulated time. Once the documents verification process is complete, candidates have to select/give their preference for the course specialisation for which they want to get admission to the NMIMS.
On the day of counselling, candidates have to verify their documents which are required and asked for by the concerned counselling authority. The final course and college will be allotted there only.
The allotment of the seats to the shortlisted candidates will be decided on the factors
- The preferences for courses filled by the candidates
- The number of available seats
- The rank obtained by applicants in the NMIMS LAT entrance exam 2023
The official authority of the NMIMS will provide the admission letter after verifying and approval of the submitted documents.
Preparation of Merit List
NMIMS LAT will release the merit list for each programme separately. Candidates can check it themselves from the official website. The merit list will be released along with the result. In the merit list, the names of the shortlisted candidates will be mentioned specifically along with the scores of the entrance examination. The merit list will be released one by one for each programme.
The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidates in the written entrance exam. As per the rank secured by the candidate in the merit list, applicants will be called for counselling. Often after the first round of counselling, seats remain vacant. In that case, a second round of counselling sessions will be organised and a new list will be prepared based on the score and rank of the candidates.
